“The Beatles”

“The Beatles” is the name of a British band, whose members were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. A band that in the sixties revolutionized the world of music.
It all began at the Liverpool Institute, attended by John Lennon and Paul McCartney: they met on the bus on their way to school.
The passion for music united them, and soon they created, along with the drummer Pete Best, their little band, The Quarrymen, which soon was featured by the young George Harrison.
In 1960, the four boys from Liverpool took a series of shows in Hamburg, Germany, and upon their return they replaced the first drummer by Richard Starkey (aka Ringo Star) and they changed their name to the Beatles.
“Love me do” of 1962 was the first real success of the band that made them famous all over the world, that reached its peak in 1967.
Three years later, in 1970, due to disagreements between John Lennon and Paul McCartney, the band split up.
Their songs, their look, their hair cuts made the history, influencing a lot the world of music and fashion.
The Beatles are true icons.

“The Beatles” è una band di britannica, formata da John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison e Ringo Starr, che negli anni Sessanta rivoluzionarono il mondo della musica.
Iniziò tutto a Liverpool Institute , frequentato da John Lennon e Paul McCartney, i quali si conobbero nell’autobus che li portava a scuola; la passione per la musica li accomuna, e di lì a poco avrebbero creato, insieme al batterista Pete Best la loro piccola band: i Quarrymen, alla quale si sarebbe aggregato il giovane George Harrison.
Nel 1960 i quattro ragazzi di Liverpool partirono così per una serie di spettacoli ad Amburgo, in Germania e al loro ritorno sostituirono l’attuale batterista con Richard Starkey (in arte Ringo Star), cambiarono il loro nome in Beatles.
“Love me do” del 1962 fu il primo vero successo della band, che li rese famosi in tutto il mondo, toccando l’apice nel 1967.
Tre anni dopo, nel 1970, a causa di divergenze tra John Lennon e Paul McCartney, la band si sciolse.
Le loro canzoni, il  look, il loro taglio di capelli, hanno fatto storia, influenzando molto il mondo della musica e quello della moda.
I Beatles, sono delle vere Icone.
