Field Jacket
La giacca militare, o Field Jacket, è forse uno dei capi militari più imitati che ci sia.
Il primo modello risale al 1941 e venne ideata dal maggiore J.K. Parsons, dal quale prese il nome, che raccolse il consenso del suo reggimento;
il suo successo è dovuto sicuramente per la sua praticità: abbastanza lunga da proteggere dal freddo, ma tale da consentire i
movimenti, fatta di un nylon resistente e antivento, con quattro grandi tasche con aletta e cappuccio inserito nel collo; all’interno delle maniche
un gancio consentiva di riporre i guanti, per eventuali emergenze nucleari.
Nel 1942 il dipartimento dell’esercito degli Stati Uniti d’America, che si occupa della creazione delle dotazioni militari, modificò il modello
battezzandola nel color verde oliva e rendendola ancora più pratico e funzionale, inserendo all’interno del cappuccio uno strato di pelliccia.
La giacca militare, pratica e funzionale, entrò a far parte anche del guardaroba civile intorno al 1960 e ancora oggi ha molto successo.

success is undoubtedly due to its practicality: long enough to protect from the cold, but comfortable to allow all the movements, made of a durable nylon and
windproof, with four large pockets with flap and a hood into the collar; inside the sleeves a hook to store gloves, for any nuclear emergencies.
In 1942, the department of the US Army which deals with the creation of military equipment, modified the model making it in olive green color and even more
practical and functional by inserting inside the cap a layer of fur.
The military jacket, practical and functional, also became part of the civilian wardrobe around 1960 and it still has a lot of success.
